The Lector proclaims the Readings from Sacred Scripture. Volunteers read the assigned Readings at Masses and other special liturgical celebrations. With the help of a guidebook, the lector must be willing to spend time preparing themselves for reading. This ministry requires a strong, clear speaking voice and is open to those 16 years of age and above, male and female. Training will be provided.
