Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers
The Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest at Mass with the distribution of Holy Communion.  A class is required, usually offered at the Diocese, followed by training on specifics within our own parish.  All will be certified by the Diocese upon completion of their training.  Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers must be 16 years or older, a baptized, confirmed, and practicing Catholic.

Hospital Ministry
This ministry involves taking the Holy Eucharist To Catholics who are in the hospitals.

Nursing Home Ministry
This ministry involves taking the Holy Eucharist to our parishioners who reside in a nursing home or care facility.  This position requires a willingness to listen and the ability to be sensitive to the needs of the elderly.

Communion to the Homebound
This ministry involves taking the Holy Eucharist to our parishioners who are homebound due to age or disability, and those recovering from illness.  As a minister you are a link between the homebound of our parish and fulfill a very important need for our church.
